Pavillon de Manse – Halloween
The Condé princes' mill pumped water to Le Nôtre's fountains: children set a 17th-century wooden wheel turning, then hear the 19th-century machines and see the Duc d'Aumale's mechanised laundry. For Halloween there is a pumpkin treasure hunt, a witch who has forgotten her own name and a 'Lab'horrible' where pumpkins are made to throw up.
