The village lanes and the Pénitents Blancs
A last wander through the medieval village, free to enter, past the Chapelle des Pénitents Blancs – from 1306 the oldest building in Èze, where the villagers voted in 1860 to join France. It and the baroque church are listed as temporarily closed for renovation, so admire them from outside.
