In this guide

Antibes began as Antipolis, a Greek trading post, and it has never stopped looking out to sea. The old town still sits on its ramparts, with the Château Grimaldi at the top – Picasso painted there through the autumn of 1946. South of it, the Cap d'Antibes is pines, villas and the Tire-Poil path along the rocks; on the Cap's western side, Juan-les-Pins is where the Fitzgeralds spent the summer of 1926 and where Jazz à Juan has played under the pines since 1960.
